the Florence E. Moog Professor of STEM Education in the Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts & Sciences, has been honored with an Excellence in Teaching Award from Emerson Electric Co. Frey is a national leader in STEM education and in research on active-learning STEM pedagogies.
Gary Patti, PhD,
assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry, Genetics, and Medicine in the College of Arts & Sciences, has been awarded a 2014 Sloan Research Fellowship by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. The fellowships are given to early-career scientists and scholars whose achievements and potential identify them as rising stars.
